Kabati Youth will feature in the National Super League in the 2025-26 season after clinching the FKF Division One Zone A title following a hard-fought 1-0 win over Dandora Youth at Mukerenju Primary School on Sunday.

The Murang’a-based side, who will play in the second-tier league next season, finished the season with 56 points, punctuated by 16 wins, eight draws, and only four losses.

Coached by Joel Mungai, Kabati’s coronation on Sunday was a culmination of a consistent display throughout the season as they finished top of the third-tier league table.

For the players and staff, it marked the end of a long and focused campaign.

Coach Joel Mungai credited the team’s discipline and effort over the season.

“We've had scenarios of ups and downs, but we have been able to fight and bounce back, making us champions today.” He said after the match.

Promotion to the National Super League means Kabati Youth will now compete at a higher level next season, facing stronger opponents and more competitive fixtures.
