The trio are power forwards William Sidney Davis II of USA and Michel Diogoye Diouf from Senegal and American-Nigerian point guard Uchenna Iroegbu.

Seasoned William, popularly known as Will, is joining from Venezuelan Superliga Profesional de Baloncesto side Spartans Distrito Capital.

The lanky power forward, known for his athleticism and team-first attitude, has also played in the NBA G-League, Greece, Romania and Cyprus and his arrival is a massive shot on the arm as Thunder eye to retain the league title.

“I’m from Sacramento, California, and this is my 10th year as a pro. I look forward to winning games with Thunder. My motto is “don’t take it personal, it’s just business,” he said.

Power forward Diouf joins Thunder after recently turning out for Bakken Bears in Denmark where he became a four-time Basketligaen Defender of the Year.

The Senegalese is the current all-time leader in points, rebounds, and blocks in the FIBA Europe Cup.

“I don’t care about stats. Just win. I’m a winner,” he said.

Point guard Uchenna is joining Thunder after a successful stint with Al-Shamal in Qatar.

Uchenna, 28, was a standout player for Stony Brook University during his college years. He has also represented Nigeria at the national level.

At 183 cm, he adds speed, playmaking, and leadership to the squad’s backcourt, making him a key facilitator in Thunder’s offense.

Head coach Brad Ibs expressed his enthusiasm for the new additions, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Will, Michel, and U.C. to the Thunder family. They are great, experienced, team-oriented players who fit our playing style perfectly. Together with our existing players, we are aiming to make Kenya proud with a deep run in the BAL tournament.”

The Road to BAL qualifiers tip off in October, and Nairobi City Thunder is eager to leave a significant mark on the competition as the team seeks to extend their last season's local dominance to Africa.

Thunder lifted the men’s local league title for the first time in July this year with an unbeaten run.

The Road to BAL, also known as the BAL Qualifying Tournaments, are the qualifying tournaments of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
