Speaking to Citizen Digital, interim head coach Peter Ginn said the Sugar Millers will be going for maximum points in their upcoming clash against Mombasa United this weekend at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.
With only two matches left in the season, Ginn emphasised the importance of securing all available points to avoid the threat of relegation.
“We are aiming to win our remaining games because we need the points to boost our chances of survival. The teams below us are also fighting hard, and that motivates us to push for better results—without pressure,” said Ginn.
The coach is also determined to avenge their first-leg loss to Mombasa United, who beat them 1-0 earlier in the campaign.
Ginn expressed concern over the officiating in that previous encounter and called for fairness in the return fixture.
“They beat us 1-0, but there were questionable calls, including disallowed goals. My request this time is for fair officiating throughout the match,” he added.
He also urged Nzoia Sugar FC supporters to turn out in large numbers at Sudi Stadium to cheer on the team.
