After setting a new record lap time in the qualifying round Lando Norris put on a show to claim his first ever Monaco GP win.

This marks his second win this season with his first being in Melbourne earlier this year.

With his counterpart Oscar Piastri coming in third the McLaren team is looking more and more likely to win the constructors championship.

Piastri who has won four grand prix this season in China, Miami, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia stated he was satisfied with the results and that he had also learnt some lessons on the track that he plans to take note of next year.

Meanwhile French rookie Isack Hadjar could not be happier with the team giving credit to his teammate Liam Lawson for their overall performance.

Local Charles Leclerc finished second with his world championship winner Lewis Hamilton finishing in fifth place.

"It's a nice reward but anything other than first is empty", stated a struggling Lewis Hamilton
