Coach Eliud Okwemba says his side is prepared to battle with the best when Term
One school games begin mid this month, eyeing the national title.
Okwemba has revealed they have
invested in top notch friendlies including featuring in a couple of
tournaments, in readiness for the competition.
“We are ready and fear less. We have
prepared well and I can see the fruits from the tournaments and friendly
matches that we have participated in.”
Most of the players who represented
us last years were form three and they are still part of us so I am looking
forward to a successful season,” added Okwemba.
The veteran tactician is however
aware of the tough competition awaiting them in the games, from the likes of
Butula High School, Vihiga and former champions Kakamega High School.
“Teams know how good we are so they
are preparing to beat us but we can only get better with the team that we have
and the experience but we will take on game at a time and play it as a final,” stated
the coach.
