Kasarani's Luvita warns Butali ahead of Western DIV II tie
Kasarani Youth Sports
Academy Team Manager (KYSA) Patrick Luvita is fired up for Butali Sugar FC
clash, who will be hosting them in a National Division II Western Zone A league
match at Tande Secondary School Grounds.
Luvita says he is
pinning his hopes on the ability of his team to progress well from the County
league to the regional one to surprise opponents by joining Division One league
next season thus a win away on Sunday will be key.
The Sabatia-based team
that plays at Demesi Secondary Ground is in the fifth position with 30 points
after playing 18 games and Luvita says the players have hit camp in preparation
for their away assignment.
"This is a very competitive
league. Teams are out to win their matches. We are training to ensure that we
win our away match in anticipation to qualify for National Division One League
next season," Luvita said.
"We are not coming
back to play in the Division Two league. The technical bench is working hard to ensure
the players are well sharpened to be able to put up with the pressure the league
games come with," added Luvita.
Luvita however noted that transport challenges and inadequate resources to motivate players have been slowing them down.
After a barren draw
with Vihiga Sportiff last weekend, KYSA FC moved to the fifth place with 30
points.
