Isaac Mbote elected as the new Nakuru County Boxing Association boss

Isaac Mbote has been elected unopposed as the new Chairman of the Nakuru County Boxing Association (NCBA) following a repeat Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at Free Area in Nakuru.
The elections
saw the participation of over 50 delegates from various boxing clubs within
Nakuru City, and unlike the previous AGM, which was marred by chaos, the repeat
election was conducted in a free, peaceful, atmosphere.
Mbote, after
emerging victorious, will now lead a 12-member committee tasked with steering
the county's boxing development forward while being deputized by Samuel Nderitu
and Second Vice Chairman George Kamau.
The election was
supervised by Sports Registrar Madam Rose Wasike, alongside Abel Manyara from
the Department of Sports and James Akama of the Kenya National Sports Council.
Additionally,
the process was observed by top officials from Boxing Federation of Kenya
(BFK), including President Anthony "Jamal" Ombok, Secretary General
Dave Munuhe, Treasurer Benjamin Moses, among others.
The newly
elected NCBA leadership is as follows:
1. Chairman: Isaac Mbote
2. 1st Vice Chairman: Samuel Nderitu
3. 2nd Vice Chairman: George Kamau
4. Secretary: Moses Noor
5. Assistant Secretary: Mary Wangari
6. Treasurer: Peter Odhiambo
7. Assistant Treasurer: Lydia Wangeci
8. Competition Secretary: Lemid
