Gor's Mihic slams officiating despite KCB win

According to Mihic, the referee made many wrong decisions and especially against Gor Mahia saying their opponents were in many cases favoured by the centre man.
The Croat was sent off for his outbursts and he said his reaction was based on frustrations with the refereeing decisions that went against his side.
“I didn’t like the referee, and I apologise, but he needs to know that we are sober. He made many wrong decisions against my team. I don’t know who controls the referees, but it was pure nonsense,” said Mihic.
He further faulted the eight additional minutes after the regulation time saying this made him suspicious since there were not many stoppages to warrant eight minutes of added time.
“What was the need for the eight minutes added after the 90 minutes? I became suspicious. These referees should know that we are in sports and we train for our results.
The re-scheduled match was played on April 7 at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos after the initial kick off aborted the day earlier after the venue was submerged following heavy downpour that pounded the area.
The 1-0 win has boosted KÓgalo’s league title chase as they now sit third on 46 points, three behind leaders Police FC though K'Ogalo have a better goal difference and a game in hand.
“We work hard in training and we always have our plans for every match. This issue of biased officiating should be addressed, lest football will have no meaning,” added Mihic.
In that match, last season’s MVP Austin Odhiambo scored the solitary goal from a free kick taken from outside the box to keep Gor’s title hopes alive.
Gor will next play against Mara Sugar on April 12 before facing Sofapaka on April 19.
