Gor Mahia are back at the summit of the FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) following their 2-0 win over Ulinzi Stars, as rivals Tusker FC lost 2-1 to hosts Wazito Sunday evening.

With only two rounds to go, Gor now have 67 points while Tusker have amassed 65, having played equal number of matches - 32. Nzoia Sugar, who beat hosts Nairobi City Stars 3-1 on Saturday close the top three bracket with 63 points.

With the win, Wazito boosted their chances of surviving relegation axe as they are now four points above Mathare United who have 22, following their 1-0 loss to hosts Kakamega Homeboyz at the Bukhungu Stadium Sunday afternoon.

In other results of the Premier League on Sunday, already relegated Vihiga Bullets edged AFC Leopards 2-1, as KCB sunk Bidco United 1-0.  Kenya Police leapt to fourth on the log with a 3-1 over Posta Rangers, in a match played at the Police Sacco Stadium - Nairobi.

At Buhkungu, Brian Eshianda scored the lone goal for Kakamega Homeboyz in the 41st minute, from a through pass by Harambee Stars man Robinson Kamura who had shaped Kevin Amwayi’s corner.

Mathare had a golden chance to equalize in the 64th minute when they were awarded a penalty, but Godfrey Shiveka could not beat keeper Ibrahim Wanjala.

Eric Ambunya had handled the ball in the box and the referee pointed straight to the spot.
