'Careless of some people?': Leopards coach Aussems in Twitter rant over state of the club

AFC Leopards are going through enormous financial difficulty and head coach Patrick Aussems is not happy with how things are being handled at the den, taking to Twitter to vent out his frustrations.

Since their former shirt sponsor, a betting company cancelled its sponsorship deals with all sporting outfits in the country in August 2019, Ingwe are yet to recover from their financial troubles leading to exodus of players as well as sanctions from Fifa over non-payment of a section of players dues.

And taking to his official Twitter handle, the Belgian tactician stated that Leopards cannot pretend to be on track when both players and technical bench are not being paid their salaries and allowances.

His tweet appeared to have been pointed at the club’s top brass under the leadership of Chairman Dan Shikanda for what he said was ‘carelessness of some people and lack of professionalism’ as factors derailing the team’s progress.

The former Tanzanian giants Simba SC tactician is hopeful that the problems surrounding the club will be arrested as soon as possible so as he may continue to steer the team.

The 12-time league champions have begun poorly undermining their quest for the elusive league title.

Last term they lost out to sworn rivals in the FKF Cup final with the league title going to Tusker FC.

The question however remains: will Aussems stick to his promise of steering the troubed Leopards to success or jump ship?
