Ulaa Enterprise, is the company’s enterprise version of the privacy focused browser tailored specifically for security and visibility needs of enterprise.
Zoho’s Country Manager for Kenya, Veerakumar Natarajan on Monday announced that the new browser is “a response to this challenge” in reference to privacy and security challenges organizations encounter when handling data.
The enterprise, according to Veerakumar, has a centralized policy management giving administrators access, controls and capabilities to define user functionalities, with the browser enforcing data loss prevention (DLP), a mechanism that prevents loss of critical user data at the core of its functionality.
Zoho’s artificial intelligence (AI) assistant Zia has been incorporated into the enterprise to enhance browsing safety and productivity as well blocking phishing attempts. Also in the line is Zoho’s ZeroPhish, a tool specially designed to counter phishing activities across Zoho platforms.
The enterprise, according to Zoho, is designed to be easy to deploy and manage, avoiding the need for complicated systems and virtualization that would put a lot of weight on a user’s financial resources;
The site is also designed to allow organizations to ensure security without compromising on employee trust as per its ethical monitoring capabilities and is transparent and targeted in line with universal workplace fairness standards.
According to Zoho, the platform is built on Chromium, bringing a familiar interface (outlook) embedded with security features and is readily made for major operating systems and platforms like Android and iOS making it compatible with several devices.
“Zoho builds its AI tools with a focus on value, privacy, and practicality. Its AI models are never trained on customer data, and the company does not retain any customer information,” said Veerakumar.
