'You will not sabotage my Gov't!' President Ruto tells critics
President William Ruto has slammed Kenyans criticising his
administration, citing that his legacy projects must succeed.
Speaking at Chebaror area in Kesses while launching the last-mile
connectivity on Friday, the Head of State vowed to continue uniting the country
as he transforms the economy.
Ruto said the broad-based agenda, which brought together
opposition members into government, is key to stabilising the country's
political and economic state.
"Let me tell the country that we are making progress and
it will not be sabotaged by saboteurs who are against the progress of our
nation," Ruto said.
The President asserted that he would continue his resolve to
steer the country amid the efforts of the said naysayers.
Ruto was accompanied by Deputy President Prof. Kithure
Kindiki, top government officials and the North Rift leadership.
DP Kindiki, on his part, reiterated the need for the country's
unity as he appealed to leaders to continue supporting the presidency for the
achievement of development record.
National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah also told
off government critics, noting that they should stop inciting Kenyans.
