Woman still missing days after she was abducted, daughter defiled

Some of the residents of Awendo Sub-County have called on the police to expedite the investigation process so that they can know the fate of the woman.

Former councilor for South Sakwa Marti Ondong said they want the investigative officers to trace the woman and also arrest the people involved in the abduction. Ondong says they are running out of patience as a community.

The former councilor has also raised concern over cases of insecurity in Awedo urging the police to up their game.

The former councilor said they want pending cases of insecurity investigated and people involved arrested and prosecuted.

Area Chief Fred Otieno said they are yet to trace the woman adding that investigations are still underway.
