UoN leads in ranking of top universities in Kenya

UNIRANKS, the world's leading platform for ranking and classifying higher education institutions has unveiled the 2023 list of top universities across the world.

"The main objective of this classification is to empower students and provide a high-quality educational environment that respects human rights, ensuring the quality of the student's educational life in a knowledge-based society," states UNIRANKS on its website.
According to UNIRANKS' assessment, the top universities in Kenya have excelled in providing a high-quality educational environment that respects human rights and fosters academic growth.
These institutions have demonstrated their commitment to offering excellent education, ensuring student satisfaction, and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
Leading the pack in the public university category is the University of Nairobi while in the private university sector, Strathmore University emerges as the top-ranked institution.
Other prominent institutions that secured positions within the top 20 include Kenyatta University, Moi University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, United States International University Africa (USIU-Africa), and Egerton University, among others.
