Two policemen among 4 killed in Naromoru accident

Two police officers are among four people who died in a road accident at Naromoru, Nyeri county on Thursday night.

The accident involved a G4S vehicle which was on its way to Meru and a bus headed to Isiolo.

The officers were accompanying the G4S car when the accident occurred.

County Commissioner Fredrick Shisia confirmed the incident saying 16 other people were injured.

They are receiving treatment at Nyeri General Hospital.

Naromoru is a small market town in Nyeri County located on the Naro Moru River between Nyeri and Nanyuki.
