Tenwek Mission Hospital unveils new accident and emergency unit to ease congestion

Speaking during the launch, Acting CEO Ben Siele said the unit has the capacity to accommodate more than 250 emergency cases.

The event was presided by Dr. Rebecca Kiptui, Head of Curative Services, representing the Director General for Health, Dr. Patrick Amoth who challenged the hospital to digitize its services and work closely with the ministry, including the county government.

Dr.Kiptui lauded the hospital for its efforts to provide excellent hospitality services in the region, especially the cardiothoracic centre.
