Transmara West OCPD Jamleck Ngaruya has told Citizen Digital on phone that a multi-agency team has been dispatched to the volatile cutline in Trans Mara.
Though there have been report of two death cases and unknown number of casualties between the warring Irwa Shinkishu and Isiria clans, Ngaruya has maintained that he is yet to receive a report of a death case along the border as well as casualties.
Police and GSU officers repulsed yet another attempted clash on Sunday morning.
According to sources in Trans Mara more than 25 acres of sugarcane plantation have so far been torched since the beginning of June.
On Monday there will be a security meeting at Enoreteet in an effort to quell the animosity along the border.
