A section of Thika Superhighway will be closed starting Saturday, February 15, 2025, until Tuesday, February 18, 2025, between 11 p.m. to 6 a.m to allow for the construction of a footbridge.

According to the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA), the busy highway will be partially closed at Juja Highpoint (Centurion).

KeNHA assured the public that diversions were already in place ahead of the closure.

Following this, Nairobi-bound traffic will use the diversion behind Lexo petrol station before rejoining the superhighway.

On the other hand, Thika-bound traffic will use a diversion behind Centurion Hotel before rejoining the superhighway.

KeNHA urged motorists to exercise caution and follow the proposed traffic management plan.
