Ruto to tour Coast region as Gachagua heads to Laikipia

The President is scheduled to kick off his day at the Mombasa Showground to distribute funds to local fishing groups, aimed at boosting the region's maritime industry. 

Following this, the President will visit several key development projects in Kilifi North and Malindi Constituencies:

Watamu, Kilifi North Constituency: The President will engage with local stakeholders to discuss ongoing development projects.

Baricho Water, Kilifi North Constituency: A focus on improvements to water infrastructure will be highlighted.

Kakuyuni Last Mile Electricity Connection Project, Malindi Constituency: The President will inspect the progress of this project designed to enhance electricity access.

Bamba Last Mile Electricity Connectivity Project, Ganze Constituency: The President will also review this initiative, which aims to bring electricity to remote areas.

On the other hand, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will be attending the burial of Susan Kiiru Wanjohi, the mother of Secretary to the Cabinet Mercy Wanjau.

The ceremony will take place in Nanyuki, Laikipia East Constituency, Laikipia County.

On Thursday, the two leaders were in Tharaka Nithi County where the Head of State launched various development initiatives.
