PUBG MOBILE Eid Relief Drops bring warmth to Mathare

Held during Eid al-Adha in the heart of Mathare slum, the initiative turned mobile game engagement into direct support for children and families.
Hosted at a local public school, the event included a traditional halal ritual for preparing two sheep, more than 4,000 needy students in 18 schools in Nairobi will benefit from PUBGM Eid Relief Drops.
PUBG MOBILE-themed trays, music, interactive games, and handwritten thank-you cards created a festive, heartfelt atmosphere rarely seen in this part of the city.
“PUBG MOBILE cares deeply about Kenya. Mathare deserves joy, recognition, and support, and we’re proud to be here”, said Loise, a campaign organiser from DBSA Charity. “PUBG MOBILE Eid Relief Drops is about showing that play can lead to real generosity.”
The event was packed with remarkable highlights that made it truly unforgettable. Volunteers, KOLs, and local leaders joined forces to serve a freshly prepared Eid lamb lunch, fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere filled with the joy of sharing.
For the young participants, there were exciting PUBG MOBILE-themed challenges, such as energetic dance-offs and engaging quiz sessions, which not only entertained the kids but also encouraged their creativity and teamwork.
A particularly touching moment came from the children’s “Wall of Thanks”, adorned with heartfelt, handmade messages expressing gratitude to the donors and organisers, a beautiful testament to the event’s positive impact.
