PS Esther Ngero resigns days after reshuffle
Correctional
Services Principal Secretary Esther Ngero has resigned.
President
William Ruto on Tuesday acknowledged receipt of Ms Ngero’s resignation through a
statement by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei.
“His
Excellency the President has received and accepted with regret the resignation
of Ms Esther Ngero, Principal Secretary for Correctional Services, who is
leaving the office for personal reasons,” read the statement.
Ngero
was reassigned from the State Department for Performance Management and
Delivery Services in the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary on
May 16.
She
joined the ranks of Principal Secretaries in December 2022 after an almost two-decades
career in the petroleum sector.
