Police officers have lobbed teargas canisters to disperse hundreds of protesters who are against the Finance Bill 2023.
In a march that began at Jevanjee Gardens, the protesters cut through Nairobi CBD, heading to parliament buildings.
“Down! Down! Finance Bill!” the protesters chanted at the City with placards opposing the contentious bill.
Police officers also arrested a number of protesters after running battles in Kenya’s capital.
