Over Ksh.5 million already dished out! Kenyans win big in Jipange Na Viusasa promotion

Now in its fourth week, the promotion seeks to enhance Viusasa customer experience through promotion of content on its platform.

“I had this project in my mind, but I did not have enough money to start it off. This is a favour from God. I am happy that now I can start my project,” said Irene Wambui, a teacher in Kajiado who won Ksh.100,000.

Irene is one of the 36 daily winners Jipange Na Viusasa promotion has awarded Ksh100,000 each, bringing the total payout to nearly Ksh.4 million.

Meanwhile, a total of five participants have each taken home Ksh.500,000 in the weekly draw – which is run live on Citizen every Wednesday. 

Mama Susan Mbatha who won Ksh.500,000 in the ongoing Jipange Na Viusasa promotion could not hide her happiness.

At over 60 years of age, Susan who runs a small shop in her Kitui village, could not hide her joy.

“I was at my shop when I received a call from Viusasa informing me that I was the winner of Ksh.500,000,” Susan said when she visited Viusasa Offices to collect her cheque.

“This is a blessing. God has truly repaid me,” added Susan who plans to use part of the money to stock up her shop.

Susan’s win came just two weeks after Elizabeth Wangeci, a mama Mboga from Kiambu county, won Ksh.500,000 in the Jipange Na Viusasa promotion.

“Jipange Na Viusasa promotion awards participants watch points based on the number of video packages one buys on the platform,” says Esther Mukima – Head of Content Viusasa and Royal Media Services.

“Our focus is to give back to our customers by enhancing their experience on the Viusasa platform,” added Mukima.

Participants are free to buy as many videos as possible with video packages costing Ksh.50 and Ksh.99. Kenyans who participate stand a chance of winning Ksh.100,000 daily, and Ksh.500,000 weekly.

The grand winner of Ksh.3, 000,000 will be announced at the end of the promotion on December 26, 2023.

How to participate

To take part, all you need to do is dial x487x3# and select ‘Jipange na Viusasa’ option. Select any of the video package options and pay Ksh.50 or Ksh.99. You will receive an SMS indicating the number of points you have accumulated. One needs to buy more videos to increase their chances of winning and enjoy a wide catalogue of video shows.
