Oilfields Engineering company wants treasury to stop Ksh.4B payment to Zakhem LTD

According to Oilfields, the payment is illegal as it was stopped by the court.

"KPC deliberately failed and omitted to inform you of the existence of mareva injunctive Orders issued by the High Court in the above captioned matter on 31st August 2023 and upheld by the Court of Appeal in COACAPPL 463 of 2023 Zakhem International Construction Limited (Cyprus) vs. Oilfields Engineering & Suppliers Limited & KPC through a ruling dated 15th December 2023," reads the letter.

 The letter dated July 22, 2024, is addressed to the Treasury PS. 

Zakheem International Construction has been in dispute with Oilfields Engineering and Supplies over the performance of a sub-contract agreement dated November 2015.
