No part of Kenya will be side-lined in gov't development plans, Ndindi Nyoro says
Kiharu
MP Ndindi Nyoro has assured Kenyans that the government of President William
Ruto is keen on serving all Kenyans equally without any biases.
Speaking
on Sunday during a church service in Nyakach, Kisumu County, Nyoro said no part
of the country will be side-lined in the Kenya Kwanza development plans.
The
MP, who chairs the Budget and Appropriation Committee in the National Assembly,
noted that the government has outlined priorities aimed at uplifting the lives
of Kenyans.
He
said President Ruto has managed to steer the country in the country in the
right direction.
As
the chair of the budget committee, Nyoro said he has managed
to align with the needs of the people.
“Out
of the Ksh.3.6 trillion budget, they have set aside Ksh.700 billion towards education.
The sector is key in the Kenya Kwanza government agenda and already, school
funds have been disbursed,” the MP said.
Nyoro
said the funds will also address issues of the Higher Education Loans Board
(HELB) to cushion poor parents whose children are pursuing higher learning.
The
MP assured Kenyans of sustained development in the country, promising to finish
up stalled projects.
He
singled out stalled road projects noting that the last government promised too
much without resources to execute.
