Multiple accidents, USIU graduation lead to traffic snarl up on Thika Road

In the first incident, a matatu collided with a saloon car, while the second crash involved two private saloon cars.

The situation, additional reports indicate, has been further complicated by the 46th United States International University (USIU) graduation ceremony, which is nearing its conclusion and contributing to the traffic woes.

Authorities are at the scene, working to clear the road, but traffic buildup remains heavy in both directions toward Nairobi and Thika. 

Motorists are being urged to find alternative routes and exercise caution.
