Missing police officer found dead at Embakasi home

According to a police report obtained by Citizen Digital, officers from Embakasi station were sent to locate Police Constable Geoffrey Kinzi's whereabouts after his conspicuous absence.

The team went to his house, located near Trace Hotel in Embakasi Village, which was locked from inside. 

Peeping through the window, the officers saw the officer lying on the bed unresponsive. 

Alarmed by the situation, the team gained entry into the house by cutting the window grill and found officer Kinzi's body lying in a supine position. 

A closer inspection of the officer's body revealed that he did not have any visible injuries. 

The officers processed and documented the scene and transferred the body to Montezzuma Monalissa Funeral Home pending a post-mortem examination. 

Police have since launched investigations to determine whether the officer died by suicide or was murdered.
