Lower Kabete /Brookside Drive junction to be closed for two months
A section of the Lower Kabete road will be closed from January 28 to March 25.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Kenya National Highways Authority (kenHA) said the road will be closed to allow for the construction of a box culvert.
“Motorists are advised to use alternative routes as directed by the signs and traffic marshals,” the statement reads.
Vehicles headed towards Lower Kabete will be directed towards Peponi-Mwanzi Road.
Those seeking access to Brookside Drive via Mwanzi Road will be expected to use Peponi – Lower Kabete Road.
For traffic headed towards Lower Kabete from Brookside Drive, motorists will be guided through Lower Kabete- Peponi-Mwanzi Road.
Drivers enroute to Mwanzi Road from Brookside Drive will be expected to use Lower Kabete-Peponi Road.
The construction is expected to ease traffic along Lower Kabete road.
