Kisumu: Man chops off grandmother’s head, takes it to the police station

A middle-aged man from Kilo area in Nyalenda, Kisumu County on Monday beheaded his grandmother under unclear circumstances.

The suspect in his early 20s then placed the severed head inside a bag and surrendered himself to the Kisumu Central Police Station.

The incident left officers at central police station shocked after the accused alerted one of the officers to open up the bag only to find a chopped off head.

The suspect was taken back to Kilo area where the incident happened for police to pick up the remaining part of the body.

The motive of the incident remains unclear.
