Kenyan brewer Keroche Breweries
on Tuesday, June 24, held a seismic stakeholders meeting aimed at boosting local
business, improving the welfare of farmers, building Kenya and restoring the
much-loved Keroche brands into the market.
Held in Nairobi, the stakeholders gathering saw over 500 distributors, bar owners, stockists,
farmers and diehard clients gather for an afternoon of much pomp and colour as
the brewer unveiled their slew of beloved brands in a bid to reinvigorate the
market and inject fresh energy into the arena.
Edward Muigai, the group CEO, Keroche
Industries, expressed his excitement at bringing new life into the legendary
beer brand, detailing his elation at the company's merging of Kenyan products
with a revitalised psyche of the unbeatable Kenyan spirit of entrepreneurship,
sharing and beverage commerce.
Speaking to the stakeholders, Muigai, a
scion of the Keroche founders, continued to express his optimism in the
brewer's unshakable resilience and toughness - a remarkable resurgence of the
universally beloved Keroche brands by Kenyans of all walks of life.
"This just goes on to show that we are
made of an unbeatable spirit. Kenyans are known for their resilience and their
entrepreneurial spirit. Despite any setbacks, Kenyans have been known to rise
up and dust themselves - and get back in the ring," Muigai remarked.
"This is truly an inspiring meeting.
One that shows that Keroche is back and that we have remained true to our cause
- the cause of Kenyans and the cause of the Kenyan farmer and producer. All of
you are a testament to our indomitable spirit!"
Hundreds of bar owners, distributors and
stockists also got a chance to interact with the company's honcho as well as
with each other, as the meeting segued into a one-on-one opportunity for
stakeholders to know each other, further spread their entrepreneurial tentacles
and position themselves better in a quickly evolving beer market.
As they sipped on various brands, which
included Summit Lager, Summit Malt and KB, as well as Vienna Ice, the gathered
guests also took time to share their opinion on the various tastes and textures
of the company's brands, as the leadership took note of the concerns which
ranged from distribution, longevity, easy accessibility and market
sustainability.
Blending Kenyan pride, craftsmanship and
innovation into every sip, Keroche's expertly brewed custom beers reimagines
the bold flavors expected from such a trusted brewer, while delivering a
uniquely smooth and refreshing character carefully crafted and that is
distinctly and authentically Kenyan.
"Today is a tribute to Kenya’s rich
tradition of craftsmanship, warm hospitality, and dynamic entrepreneurial
spirit, bringing a true taste of home to all beer lovers as well as showcasing
the uniquely Kenyan love for a good tipple, a great evening and beautiful
friendships," Anerlisa Muigai, the company's Marketing Director, said.
She added, "From the brands inception, Keroche has been a mission-centric organization on a quest to reimagine the way the world enjoys beer while helping enhance the visibility of Kenya and keeping it's focus on flavor, creativity, and community."
The Naivasha-based brewery also said it is
committed to supporting local farmers and creating more jobs to boost the
economy, describing the fresh brands as ‘specially crafted’ using the state-of-the-art technology and traditional process that guarantees customer
satisfaction.
"This beer is naturally brewed, has no
hang overs, zero sugar and has been brewed using the best standards in the
country,” Muigai added.
