The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has advised passengers that some departing flights are experiencing delays across its airports.

In a statement issued in Nairobi on Sunday, August 30, 2026, the authority said it is working with aviation agencies, airlines and other stakeholders to manage the situation and keep operations moving.

"Kenya Airports Authority PLC wishes to advise passengers and other airport users that some departing flights are currently experiencing delays at our airports," the statement read.

KAA said it is working to minimise disruption and facilitate the smooth flow of airport operations, and urged travellers to contact their respective airlines for the latest information on flight status before planning their journeys.

"KAA regrets the inconvenience caused and appreciates the patience and understanding of passengers and other airport users as the situation is addressed," the authority said.
