President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee party has announced that it will hold its National Delegates Conference (NDC) later this month.

According to a statement issued by Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju on Thursday, the NDC will take place on February 25 and 26 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) from 10 am.

The agenda of the meeting, Tuju said, will be to review the party’s policies and ratify proposed changes to the party’s constitution to comply with electoral laws. Jubilee members are also expected to approve the party’s new seal, symbol and flag.

The meeting which comes a few months to the August elections comes amid declarations by Jubilee officials that the party will be supporting ODM leader Raila Odinga in the upcoming presidential polls.

Jubilee which was formed by President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto has remained divided right at the middle with a section of members drifting away to the Ruto-led UDA party.
