How to confirm your voter details are correctly registered by IEBC

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) suspended the continuous voter registration on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

In a gazette notice, the IEBC announced the suspension of new registration as well as the change of registration of voters both in Kenya and the disapora from May 4 until March 13, 2023. This is to allow the important process of verification.

Voters have between May 4 and June 2, 2022 to check your details in the voters’ roll.

You can verify your voter registration details through two ways:

1. Send your ID or Passport number, depending on which you used to register, to the number 70000.

2. Visit the IEBC portal verify.iebc.or.ke

If you find that your details have not been captured correctly, visit your registration centre to have them corrected.
