Govt To Import 25000 Tonnes Of Fertilizer

According to agriculture Cabinet Secretary Felix Koskei, the fertilizer will then be distributed to all Kenya Cereals and Produce Board (KCPB) centers across the country.
Koskei has confirmed the fertilizer will then be sold to farmers at Ksh.1,800 shillings and not 2,000 shillings as previously sold for every 50 kilogramme bag.
Speaking at the KCPB Eldoret branch, the Cabinet Secretary said the move is aimed at reducing the cost of farming for farmers, to ensure high profitability.
