France repatriates several young children from camps in Syria

France has repatriated several young children from camps in Northern Syria, its foreign ministry said on Friday, reiterating that militants who joined the Islamic State should be tried where they committed crimes abroad.

The ministry said the children were either orphans or separated from their parents in the camp.
