2022 KCSE exams kick off as multi-agency team deployed for supervision

The 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams kicked off on Friday morning with 884263 candidates set to undertake the test.

The candidates will begin with the English Paper 1 test and later in the afternoon sit for the Chemistry Paper 1 exam.

A multi-agency team composed of Education officials have been dispatched across the country to monitor the administration of the examination.

Teachers Service Commission (CEO) Nancy Macharia will supervise the Day’s activities in Mombasa County.

At the same time, Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) CEO Dr. David Njegere will oversee the administration of the KCSE exams in Wajir and Mandera Couties.

Prof. Charles Ong’ondo, the CEO of the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) will supervise the day’s activities in Vihiga.
