Witchdoctor who predicted Obama’s presidency predicts he will visit Kogelo

A witchdoctor in Kogelo has predicted President Obama will visit Kogelo despite the US embassy saying the visit is not scheduled.

John Dimo, after tossing some shells and animal bones on the ground, convinced Kogelo residents that he can predict the future and by his prediction the US president will visit the village of his father’s birth.

“The results indicate that Obama will come to Kogelo,” Dimo told a circle of residents who had gathered to watch his fortunetelling ritual according to a report on Yahoo News.

Dimo added that the visit is a secret because of security concerns.

When Obama visited Kogelo in 2006 as a US senator, before he announced his White House run, Dimo predicted he would someday become president.

“Believe me, I said Obama will become the US president and it came to pass,” he told onlookers. “Now, I can see he has planned to visit the village. He will come.”

The village’s anticipation is matched by excitement throughout the country as Kenya prepares for Obama’s arrival Friday to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Nairobi.
