Her return marks the start of a new musical chapter—one that blends international influence with her signature sound. Having immersed herself in London’s diverse and creative music scene, Savinnah is now ready to channel that energy into fresh releases and bold sonic experiments.
The talented pop artist shared that her UK tour was driven by a desire to explore new genres, especially Drum and Bass (DnB), and to build connections with global creatives. “The UK is such a hub for raw, authentic talent,” she said. “Artists there are brave and experimental—I found that really motivating.”
Along the way, she linked up with prominent artists like Degs and RJ, who provided insight into the music industry and collaborative spirit in the UK.
What left the biggest mark on her, however, was the overwhelming support for the arts. “In London, every few blocks there’s a theatre or auditorium. I even witnessed a live Easter play at Trafalgar Square—it was refreshing to see such love for creativity,” Savinnah recalled.
This appreciation for art has only strengthened her resolve to push creative boundaries in her own music.
During the trip, Savinnah also observed key differences between the UK and Kenyan music industries - she pointed out that while both scenes are evolving, the UK offers more structured support and collaboration. “There’s less gatekeeping there. I was surprised at how shocked artists were when I told them about being offered exposure instead of pay—it’s not a thing over there,” she laughed.
Still, she applauded the Kenyan new wave, especially Arbantone artists and groups like Kodong Klan, for their growing community-driven approach.
Adding to the excitement, Savinnah was also recently featured on Danski’s track Bamba Tune, part of his new EP in The Beginning.
With collaborations brewing and bold new sounds on the horizon, Savvinah is proving that global exposure is fueling her local evolution—and Kenyan fans are in for something truly refreshing.
