The new single, titled 'Utamu' (meaning 'sweetness' in English), sees Felana singing charmingly to her lover, who she describes as exuding sweetness every minute she looks at him, thinks of him or even is with him.
Felana, who shot to fame after releasing the seismic 'Joto', released her fourth single on February 2, describing it as an "ode to the love of my life and also, a beautiful tribute to all the lovers in the world working hard to make their relationships work..."
Shot by Neezoh Montana's Film Giants, the video opens with a colourfully-dressed Felana serenading her lover as she plays around with him before the couple can later be seen bathed in love, in matching outfits, while enjoying a romantic, beachside date.
'Utamu' provides another moment in which Felana takes a sip from her golden chalice and sings about the intoxicating love she’s got for her beau.
"It's the season of love. I decided to let this go to all lovers out there gearing up for the Valentines! Look at you loved one proudly and declare to them, "When I see you, all I see is Utamu!" Felana wrote on her social media platforms.
The Madagascar-born singer-songwriter is on course to release her debut album as she continues to solidify her presence in the Kenyan music scene less than one year in the game.
