Rapper Khaligraph Jones is hoping
for a good year for fellow rapper Kristoff, who has been missing in action from
the Kenyan music industry.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, Khaligraph wrote to the artist who refers to himself as Mluyha wa Busia
saying: “Ni**a used to rap back in the days but I have never understood what
happened along the way, @kristoffmwb I hope you find yourself again this year
and get back on youre A game, put that talent into good use bro."
The ‘Dandia’ hitmaker went ahead
to post a reply which suggested that he was going to make a comeback in 2022.
“2022 no cap, perfect timing,” responded
Kristoff.
The two rappers together released
a hit song in 2013 titled ‘We be happening’, however it was later rumored that
theduo was not in good terms.
Back in 2019, Khaligraph attributed
part of his musical success to Kristoff saying he played a big role in changing
his life as he enabled him to meet then established artistes like P-Unit,
Collo, and STL.
"Kristoff was the 1st artist
I ever saw drive himself when I invited him to our studio in Umoja in 2012 and
when we started hanging out together my perspective of life changed. I was
still the best rapper then but hanging out with him gave me an opportunity to
meet celebrities like P-unit, Collo , became friends with STL, I even went to
Subsahara studios that had signed Camp Mulla and etc, Those experiences changed
my life,” wrote Khaligraph.
