Davido celebrates 31st birthday by sharing photos of wife Chioma and twin children

Leading Afrobeat superstar Davido has shared
intimate photos of his wife and newborn twins as he marked his 31st birthday.
The
award-winning singer-songwriter posted adorable photos featuring his wife,
Chioma Rowland, and their newborn twins, Taiwo and Kehinde David, whose faces
he covered using emojis.
One of the
images show a beaming Davido holding onto the newborn babies in what appears to
be a hospital ward, while another shows him kissing his wife Chioma
passionately.
Accompanying
the images, Davido expressed his gratitude to God with a simple yet heartfelt
caption: “BIG 31 …. Grateful to God.”
The last
image, which is a screenshot, sees Davido paying homage to his business magnate
father David Adedeji Adeleke.
Davido's
decision to share his children with the world comes a year after he tragically
lost his son Ifeanyi to drowning at his home in Lekki, Nigeria.
During a recent
interview, Davido revealed how he felt when he learned he was expecting twins
while dealing with the loss of his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyichukwu Adeleke.
In his
words, "When me and my wife found out, we were shaking and it was in the
same month, happened in October and my wife gave birth in October, it's crazy."
On dealing
with the devastating loss of his son, the renowned artist appreciated his
support system for being there for him.
"There
are a lot of people that those things happen to; you would never want to
believe in God in your life. But to still have faith and I'm still able to do
what I love, having a great team around me. And now we're almost at the finish
line," he stated.
The
'Unavailable' hitmaker also admitted to facing a deep personal crisis after the
loss of Ifeanyi, revealing that he contemplated giving up on his faith and even
questioned whether he would ever sing again.
“I was at
the point of giving up. I thought I would never sing again. Despite having my
most successful year, releasing my biggest album, and my wife delivering twins,
a beautiful boy and a girl, I felt like I came back in double,” Davido shared.
Many of Davido's fans have taken to the
comment section to wish the music legend a Happy Birthday while also gushing
over the beautiful photos of his family.
