Kenyan innovator builds platform connecting vendors with customers through geofencing

Kenya is one of the leading markets for e-commerce in Africa, with a predicted revenue running into billions of shillings.

One such e-commerce platform is Plat Del, an online marketplace leveraging geofencing to connect vendors and consumers.

Plat Del is the brainchild of Washington Mageto, a young innovator who was inspired during the Covid 19 pandemic to built the platform.

Today, Plat Del has over 60k users, accessing different products.
