In her new role, Noor will spearhead Google's efforts to expand its security offerings in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. In a statement Google says Noor will be responsible for strategic alliances with the public sector to harness Google Cloud's cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, including CyberShield, a solution tailored specifically for governments.
Noor previously served as the CEO of Ooredoo Oman, where she was the youngest and first female CEO. Prior to her tenure at Ooredoo Oman, Noor held leadership positions at Starlink and Phono & FASTtelco in Qatar and Kuwait, respectively. She was once named Forbes Middle East's most powerful businesswoman.
Expressing her excitement about joining Google Cloud, Noor stated, "I am honored to join Google Cloud, a company that has been an inspiration throughout my career. Google Cloud's steadfast support in assisting governments worldwide to enhance their security capabilities and respond comprehensively at the national level resonates with me deeply. I am eager to lead the effort to bring these capabilities to the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa."
