Capital A Investment Bank unveils new brand identity

Capital A Investment Bank, formerly Securities Africa Kenya Limited, has unveiled a new brand identity, marking a significant milestone in its journey after being upgraded from a licensed stockbroker to an investment bank by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA). 

The rebranding reflects the firm's expanded capabilities and commitment to providing exceptional investment solutions.

As a regulated entity under the CMA and an authorized trading participant at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), Capital A Investment Bank specializes in tailored investment advice across various financial instruments, including bonds, equities, Eurobonds, and corporate finance. 

The firm holds a 20.8% market share in the bonds market as of September 2024, with a transaction value of KES 55.2 billion.

During the unveiling, Chairman Norris Kibe emphasized the firm's dedication to innovation and client service, stating, “This rebranding marks a significant milestone in our journey, reflecting our commitment to delivering exceptional value and empowering our clients to achieve their financial goals.”

Nairobi Securities Exchange CEO Frank Mwiti commended Capital A Investment Bank for its expansion into new financial services, underscoring the collective responsibility of building the Kenyan capital market.

CMA Director of Market Operations Daniel Warutere praised the firm's transition to an investment bank, noting it aligns with the growth and maturity of Kenya's capital markets.

Capital A Investment Bank is focused on helping investors navigate the complexities of financial markets and is exploring new opportunities in diaspora remittances, impact financing, green financing, and Islamic finance to drive the growth of the Kenyan financial services sector.
