Yvonne Wamalwa’s funeral underway

The burial ceremony of former Vice President Michael KijanaWamalwa’s widow Yvonne Wamalwa is currently underway at Milimani in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County.

Deputy President William Ruto, Cabinet Secretaries Eugene Wamalwa and Amina Mohammed, NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula, IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba, former cabinet minister Musikari Kombo and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria are among those in attendance.

Mrs. Wamalwa died on January 25 while undergoing treatment at Nanyuki Cottage Hospital.

Before her death, Yvonne served as a director of Foreign Service in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
