Dancehall sensation Richie Spice has compared his Kenyan fans to those in Jamaica.
Richie Spice, who is set to have a big show at the KICC in Nairobi on Saturday, 27th May, paid a visit to the Royal Media studios on Tuesday, where Citizen Digital’s Kenneth Gachie caught up with the reggae legend for a quick Q&A. Royal Media Services are the show sponsor.
“When we come to Kenya, the person that we leave back in Jamaica, we see the same resemblance. Kenyan fans remind me of home,” the ‘Nuh Leave Me’ singer said.
Asked about which other African countries he had travelled to, the Reggae artist said that he does not travel a lot apart from Kenya, which he has visited four times, his last performance being in 2019.
Spice said apart from Kenya, he has only been to the Gambia and Senegal.
On his favourite song to perform that makes his fans go crazy, he went on to say that he does not have a specific song and that he performs all the songs for his fans.
The Reggae maestro promised his fans a great show, great time and great vibration, telling them to come out in huge numbers as he performs along with his brother.
