Woman stabs co-wife to death in Nakuru

A woman stabbed her co-wife to death on Tuesday night in Subukia, Nakuru County after a domestic altercation.
The first wife, who has been identified as Yvonne Wanjiru, stabbed Bernice Wangeci with a knife after a quarrel over the second wife’s marriage, which she was opposed to.
Confirming the incident, Subukia OCPD Patricia Nacio said Yvonne, 25, was in the house when her husband brought home 21-year-old Bernice, after which she was enraged and a quarrel ensued.
The police boss added that Yvonne escaped after the incident.
Bernice was rushed to the hospital in Subukia where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
