Woman stabs boyfriend to death in Kiambu

A middle-aged woman is in police custody after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death following a domestic dispute at their house in Kamwangi village, Gatundu North, Kiambu County.

Lucy Wanjiru  Wambui, who is in her 30s, is said to have stabbed 28-year-old Vincent Mwangi Karanja several times on the chest with a kitchen knife.

Gatundu North OCS David Luchacha said the man died from profuse bleeding following the brutal attack by the woman whom he had been living with for a while.

The OCS noted that the woman had fled after the incident but she was nabbed by police officers who were informed of her hideout by members of the public.

She was set to be arraigned in court on Monday.
