Samsung Electronics has quietly expanded its retail playbook in Kenya.

The electronics giant, working with local partner Housewives Paradise, has launched the Samsung Brand Store, a direct-to-consumer digital platform designed to meet Kenyans where they increasingly shop: on their mobile phones.

The move signals a calculated shift in how major tech brands are approaching the Kenyan market.

Rather than relying solely on brick-and-mortar retail or third-party marketplaces, Samsung is betting that a branded digital storefront can drive demand, introduce exclusive product lines and deepen customer relationships in a market where mobile internet penetration and digital payment adoption continue to climb.

The new platform isn't just a straightforward shopping site. It's built around three distinct consumer value propositions.

First, the store offers exclusive inventory unavailable through traditional retail channels, featuring unique colorways, specialized sizes and bespoke appliances customized for the East African market.

Second, curated product bundles pair flagship smartphones with wearables or complete home-entertainment systems at promotional prices designed to increase basket size.

Third, every home-appliance purchase includes Samsung's Signature Service: certified installation, personalized guidance and priority customer support.

The shopping experience itself has been optimized for mobile-first commerce.

Customers can initiate WhatsApp consultations directly through the storefront, receive live sales assistance and track orders without ever leaving the messaging app, a feature that recognizes how Kenyans already communicate and shop in real time.

Samsung has also built a parallel B2B platform for corporate procurement. Government agencies, healthcare facilities, educational institutions and SACCOs can now order devices in bulk with enterprise-grade security features like Samsung Knox Manage and Knox Guard integrated into the purchase and deployment process.

"Today, we officially open the digital doors to the Samsung Brand Store, redefining the e-commerce landscape in East Africa," said Francis Modi, E-Commerce Manager at Samsung Electronics East Africa, during the launch event.

The storefront launched with active inventory spanning mobile devices, displays and smart appliances.

Nationwide delivery is live, and customers can pay using M-Pesa and major credit and debit cards.

The platform represents Samsung's calculated bet that Kenyans are ready for a premium, brand-owned digital shopping experience designed specifically for how they shop.

The Samsung Brand Store is live now at samsungbrandstore.co.ke, with enterprise clients accessing bulk ordering through samsungbrandstore.co.ke/b2b.
