Vihiga: Motorbike gang continues to terrorize residents

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Security Committee chairperson Ellam Malenge said the gangs operate on motorbikes.

"We are calling on residents to be vigilant. Majengo, Chavakali and Luanda are among the most affected," he noted.

They added that they unknown gang has wreaked havoc in the region, leaving locals at their mercy.

"Those boys are aged under 18. They have attacked several people in this community leaving them with life-threatening injuries," Malenge said.

Victims narrated their harrowing experiences following an encounter with the gang.

Following this, the county's security team has called on locals to volunteer information that will help with ongoing investigations.
